I have objectdock free version installed on a windows XP SP3 computer.  When I have it turned on it is slowing down the closing of all programs.  In otherwards when I open any application and go to the red X in the upper right hand cornor to shut down the application it takes 20-30 seconds to close.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled the application and still the same.

What might I do to fix it?

If you uninstalled OD Free and it's still hapeening you have something else going on.

This is not typical behavior for OD.

What are your computer specs?  Right click on My Computer, select Properties and give us the info listed under Computer:

Windows XP
Home Edition
Version 2002
Service Pack 3

Computer:
AMD Athlon XP 1800+
1.53 GHz 1.00 GB of Ram

The computer run perfectly if I turn it off.  That was how I was able to narrow it down to Objectdock.

Very strange.  Open a ticket with Stardock Support.

I would ask what dockletts are running on the dock and what happens if you remove them?

Here's some help.

Usually extreme slowness with ObjectDock is linked to a docklet misbehavin'.  If you back up your settings and restore factory defaults, does the same thing happen?
