If you only want to change the taskbar color I think you would do well to launch SkinStudio and edit that entry. I think that there's a hue shift, but I'm not sure.

If you want to change the whole skin, you can click on the Change color option on when you select the skin. Adjust as you see fit and go from there.

Or wait for someone who knows something.

Not sure that I understand what you are telling me. Need it in layman's terms.
Thanks

Display Properties -> Appearance Tab -> Windowblinds Button -> Change skin color (it's in the picture of the skin) -> Enable custom color support & Use HSL colouring -> use sliders to adjust to your liking -> Apply this skin now (it's in the picture too)

if you're referring to the regular taskbar between start and the systray - you can change the color using Skin Studio - or you can use WB configuration to change the whole skin (bar included)

if you're referring to the bar created with Object Bar, haven't found an easy way other than modifying a copy of an original graphic or creating a new one using the color of choice

Do you only want to change the taskbar color? To do that you need to edit the actual image. Use whatever editing software you want to do that.

If you are ok with changing the whole skin's color:

  • WindowBlinds can change the
color of any visual style on the fly.
    While there are thousands of
existing WindowBlinds visual styles, this feature allows users to take those
visual styles and tune them to their own tastes visually. The same is true
about gamma adjustment and even gray scale. A user can even invert the
    colors of a visual style.

I was curious to see if Object Bar would change color if you used Custom HSL coloring on the Windowblind with one of the OB themes that change with the blind and it doesn't. Not surprised since Right Click never has either. I always have to "colorize" my RC menus by hand to match and Custom Color blinds.

That sucks.

"Do you only want to change the taskbar color? To do that you need to edit the actual image."
This is the part that I don't understand. What image do I need to edit?
Thanks for the help.

Open the Windowblind with Skinstudio.
In the tree at the left click on the + sign next to Taskbar
Then Click on the + sign next to Taskbar Background.
You should see Horizontal & Vertical, click on the one you use.
In the area labeled Adjust Image there should be a "Edit" button
Use the drop down box to select your editing program such as Paint Shop Pro or whatever you have and "colorize" that image then save.

Thank you so much. That did what I was trying to do.
